We are a South African team that supplies, installs and supports EV chargers, with a focus on doing the electrical work properly.
More South Africans are buying electric and plug-in hybrid cars, but getting a charger installed can be confusing. Homeowners are unsure whether their supply is big enough, residents in complexes struggle to get trustee approval, and businesses are not sure how to share costs fairly. StrataCharge was set up to make this simple: one team that understands the electrical, practical and property-rule side of EV charging, and that stands behind its work after handover.

How we work
Every installation is designed, tested and certified to the wiring code. We do not cut corners to hit a price.
If your supply cannot support the charger you want, or solar will not keep you charging through load shedding, we say so.
Fixed written quotes with the scope spelled out, and anything extra listed before work starts.
Warranty claims, faults and questions go to the same team that installed your charger.

Tell us about your property, your vehicles and what you want to achieve. Photos of your DB board help.
We check your supply, available load, cable route and mounting position, on site or from photos.
A written, itemised quote: charger, installation, any upgrades and the CoC. No surprises later.
Registered electricians install a dedicated, protected circuit and mount the charger neatly.
We configure the charger, test it with you, hand over the CoC and show you how to use it.
