On the day, we isolate the supply briefly, fit a new breaker and earth-leakage protection at the DB board and run the cable to your parking spot. We mount the charger, connect it and test the whole circuit: insulation resistance, earth continuity, and the correct operation of every protective device. Once everything passes, a registered person issues the Certificate of Compliance and we hand over.
Many homes have a single-phase supply and an older DB board with few free ways. If the board is full or worn out, we quote a board upgrade separately so you can decide. Cable runs across driveways or gardens may need trenching or armoured cable. In sectional title schemes, the trustees must approve work on common property before we start, and we give them the drawings and information they need. If load shedding or the price of electricity is on your mind, ask about pairing the charger with home EV chargers that support solar charging.
Complexes, office parks and depots get a dedicated sub-board, cable sized for future bays and, where needed, load management and sub-metering. Read more about charging in apartments and complexes and workplace charging. After installation, we move straight to setup and commissioning.

Registered electricians install a dedicated, protected circuit and mount the charger neatly.

Straight cable runs, sealed entries, a labelled DB board and a charger mounted at a sensible height. We photograph every finished install and keep a record of the circuit for future maintenance.
Adding a circuit for a charger is an alteration to your electrical installation, and the law requires a Certificate of Compliance for the new work. A registered person on our team tests the installation and issues it before handover.
