Municipal and public sector EV charging

Charging for government fleets, staff parking and public bays, delivered with the documentation public-sector projects need.

The challenge

What municipalities & government need to get right

  • Procurement requirements

Public-sector projects need clear specifications, compliance documents and pricing in a format that fits procurement processes.

  • Mixed users

The same site may serve fleet vehicles, staff and members of the public, each with different access and billing.

  • Accountability for energy use

Energy use and costs need to be reported transparently.

Charging for public-sector sites

Municipal and government sites often combine fleet depots, staff parking and public-facing buildings. A good charging plan treats these as one system with separate access and billing, so each user group is served and reported on properly.

What we deliver

  • A site assessment with load analysis and a written scope.
  • Specifications and pricing suited to procurement.
  • Commercial AC chargers for fleet and staff parking, and DC fast chargers where vehicles need quick turnarounds or public demand justifies it.
  • Certified installation by registered electricians, with a CoC for every circuit.
  • Access control, reporting and an optional maintenance contract.

Fleets and public charging

For government vehicle fleets, see our approach to fleet EV charging. For public bays at libraries, civic centres or tourism sites, see public and destination charging. Larger sites can be planned and installed in phases, starting with a site assessment.

Our approach

Clear specifications, phased delivery

We provide site assessments, specifications and pricing that can support a procurement process, then deliver in phases. Smart chargers with access control and reporting let one site serve fleet, staff and public users separately.

Our process

How it works

One team from first enquiry to a working, certified charger. You always know what happens next.

  1. 1

    Enquiry

Tell us about your property, your vehicles and what you want to achieve. Photos of your DB board help.

  2. 2

    Site assessment

We check your supply, available load, cable route and mounting position, on site or from photos.

  3. 3

    Quote

A written, itemised quote: charger, installation, any upgrades and the CoC. No surprises later.

  4. 4

    Installation

Registered electricians install a dedicated, protected circuit and mount the charger neatly.

  5. 5

    Commissioning & handover

We configure the charger, test it with you, hand over the CoC and show you how to use it.
